Wondering What Kind of Certifications You Need to be a Spiritual Coach?

Hello, everybody. Hi, Spiritual Biz Success people. How are you guys? So I’m Kimberly Maska, founder of Spiritual Biz Bootcamp. I just wanted to hop in really quick because a lot of you guys have been asking the question about what certifications  you need to be able to be a spiritual coach or a life coach, and how do you get out there and really start changing the world with your message.

I just want to let you know that you don’t need any certification. So I’m of the school that you don’t need the certifications and all the paperwork to get out there with your message. I say that because so many times people are caught up in the certifications. I’ve worked with so many people, and actually, I’ve worked with less of them – let me rephrase that because those people that are out there trying to get certification after certification after certification don’t seem to actually take the final leap to actually do something with those certifications.

They’re kind of stuck in what I call “building the boat,” right? I always laugh at this analogy. Talk about building the boat in the middle of the city, and you turn around, and you try to figure out, “Well, how do I get it to the ocean?”

Well, it’s the same idea if you’re stuck in this circle of getting certification after certification after certification of your different modalities to be able to practice your spiritual coaching business, and then you get stuck, so stuck, and it’s just a circle of doing those modalities and getting those certifications that you never actually take the leap. So when someone asks me, “What certifications do I need? How do I become a spiritual coach?” I’m going to say you don’t need any.

What you do need are your life experiences because that is how we teach. We all know that, that how we teach is with our life experiences. We don’t teach any other way. We can even read in a book, the people who read everything that they need to know about whatever topic, they still don’t have all that information. So it’s really about life experience.

If you have amazing life experiences that you can share with people and that can help change lives, that is all you need. You don’t need anything more than that. You just start coaching. Coaching becomes something very natural. You’ve probably been coaching already, which is why you’re asking the question, “How do I become a spiritual coach?” You’ve already been doing it. It’s already part of who you are, your core being.

So don’t worry so much about all the certifications and how you get them and where do you get them, and what do you do and all of that. Just start stepping out with your knowledge. Start coaching in your own way because you don’t need all of that. I’ve known so many people with all those certifications and nothing really happens with them. They just kind of end up spinning their wheels.

So  I have many clients who are in the Spiritual Biz Bootcamp and have graduated who have no certifications that are doing amazing, amazing things. So you absolutely do not need the certifications to be able to step out in your own way.

So if you have to get them, I’d say the only reason why you’d need them is to be able to make sure you’re comfortable, and you’re certain with who you are and what you’re doing. There’s no certification police out there. There’s no one looking to see what certifications you have as long as you’re getting people results.

So that’s one of the key things I teach in my bootcamp. When I help my clients create their programs and step out, we’re all about results. I’m about getting you results, and my clients are about getting their clients results. If you’re not getting your clients results, then it’s kind of a waste of everyone’s time and everyone’s money. So you want to make sure that you’re really focused on the results that you get your clients, whether or not you have certifications. So it doesn’t really matter how that goes down. Just know that you’re there to serve and that the certification is just a piece of paper.

I think some of you guys know that I worked on Wall Street. I worked on Wall Street and created a $165 million dollar company, and I never had an MBA. My degree was in psychology, so no certification needed. I’m definitely proof of that. It’s called being an autodidact.

When you are gifted with the knowledge that we’re receiving from Source about what we do and how to serve and how to help, you don’t need a certification. It’s really about who you are, your core being. I’ll even post an article in here about that. So many people ask that question all the time. So I’m going to post an article by Daniel Pape, who’s my spiritual partner and the senior writer for Spiritual Biz Magazine. He wrote this article.

For those of you who don’t know, I also publish a monthly magazine, Spiritual Biz Magazine. You guys can go ahead and take a peek in there. His article should help you guys. I’ll post a link so that you realize you don’t need to have all these certifications. Just be you, who you are at your core, and that’s the amazing part of the process, is your sharing the information that you’re receiving from Source. So no certifications necessary. If you have them, that’s great. There’s nothing wrong with having them, but it’s not necessary to get out there and start your business.

If you’re ready to start that business, if you’re ready to really make 2019 rock, I mean really, what are you guys going to do? You don’t want it to be the same as 2017. You have to make it more amazing, more incredible. So if you’re ready to get 2018 looking fantastic, actually living your purpose and creating a six-figure income with your spiritual business, reach out, and we’ll set up an amazing call so we can get you some clarity, get you some real breakthrough on what that looks like to be able to create that business and be able to change lives and have a ripple effect on this planet. So you guys have an amazing day, and I will see you later in the Facebook group. Have a great one.
